DotKnow is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require an account to use the app.
If you select an image for Year Pixel Art, the image is read from your photo library only after you grant permission and select it. DotKnow derives colors for the annual dot grid on your device.
Your display preferences, language preference, selected dot appearance, widget settings, and generated dot-grid data may be stored locally on your device. Widget settings may also be shared locally with the DotKnow widget extension through Apple's app-group storage.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may process purchase information under its own privacy policy.
DotKnow does not sell your personal information. It does not use your selected image for advertising. The current version does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
You can manage photo-library access in iOS Settings at any time. Refusing photo access does not prevent you from using the rest of DotKnow.
Locally stored app data remains on your device until you remove it, reset the relevant settings, or delete the app. Deleting the app generally removes its local data, subject to Apple's system behavior and backups.
DotKnow is not directed to children under the age at which consent is required in their jurisdiction. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through the app.
